How much does decorating cost?
It depends on the size of the rooms, the condition of the surfaces and how many coats they need. A tired room that wants filling, sanding and two coats costs more than a repaint of sound walls. That's why we visit first and give you a fixed written price per room rather than a rate per day.
Do you charge for the quote?
No. The site visit and the written quote are free, and there's no obligation afterwards. If the price doesn't suit, that's fine — you'll still have an itemised breakdown you can compare against anyone else's.
How long will my job take?
A single room is usually one to three days depending on the prep. A full house repaint is typically one to three weeks. We give you the number of days in the quote and tell you straight away if anything on site changes it.
Can I stay in the house while you work?
Yes, and most of our customers do. We work room by room, keep dust sheets down and put furniture back at the end of each day so you always have somewhere to sit and something to cook in.
Do you supply the paint, or do I?
Either. Most people let us supply it so we can get trade prices and the right product for the surface, and it's itemised in the quote. If you've already bought yours or you want a specific heritage colour, that's no problem at all.
Do you cover my area?
